the meaning of freedom

Nowadays lots of people work hard in order to get a piece of freedom even if sometimes none of them know the definition of freedom. Therefore, most people are still thinking of the exact meaning of freedom. Simply, freedom is the necessary right for us to make decisions. Before defining the real meaning , I aim to explore the two essential elements which make up to the complete freedom : skin-deep freedom and interior freedom.

Skin-deep freedom stands for personal freedom . With this type of freedom you can get anywhere you want without any limitations. For instance, you got a negotiation in NewYork this morning , after that you came to Shanghai for a tradeoff . At the end of the day you would transfer to Paris for attending a dancing party. Obviously , you have got completely personal freedom throughout this busy journey all over the world . Nevertheless, that’s not enough. It seems you lose something important so that even you can not take control of your private life.

However , living without spiritual freedom which symbolize the interior freedom is not perfect .To some extent , interior freedom is likely to be a vastly potential motivation we gain from hope of our entire life . There is no royal road to freedom , we have to fight for it . Consequently , interior freedom is much more essential than skin-deep freedom , as it symbol the pure hope for us . You will never be satisfied without the freedom inside your mind even though you might have got a brilliant life in appearance. Although some criminals were sentenced into prison for years , they have never give up the pursuit of freedom . What they were looking forward for years is to coming back to the outside world one day . Corresponding to them , interior freedom is much more significant than any other physical conditions.

To sum up, really complete freedom is divided into two parts : skin-deep and interior. However , if asked to make a choice , I will not hesitate to assent to the latter . I firmly believe that freedom is not only related to the apparent issues but also links to the interior spirit which is much more significant.
